And so, I said I would order my ipod touch "on monday", that was Monday January 25th, 2010....
Then I told Maggie that I would definitely buy it the next monday, which was...yesterday...
And now I'm VERY seriously sited in front of my PC, and decided I wouldn't move an inch from that place until I click on the 'order' button.
Which brings us back to the principal reason I've been delaying my purchase: the engraving.

So I opened notepad, and started writing every single thing that I felt and thought:
I seek Peace in my Dreams, I wish for a True Elsewhere, I won't give up on myself, I won't loose to anyone, Stumbling in the Dark, Reverie that speaks of Hope, Fantasy, Enchanted Land, Sweetness, Lost, I want to be cherished, I want to be beautiful, Azure Eyes, Reflection, Soul, Tender, Warm, Sweet scent, Boundary, Fragrance, Endless, Blues waters, Deep, Wind, Moonlight, Dark eyes, Time, Flow, Miracle, Memories, Lingers, Spangled firmament, Unending, Wings, I won't Fall, Sea of Stars, Silence, Dreams, Breathing, Far Away, Sounds, Secretly.

That was pretty interesting actually, better then looking for a simple sentence to put on a cursed ipod, it felt like I was exploring my inner self, and the answers that came out from my mind was actually not as surprising as I thought they would, since I recognized myself through them.
I've always been a Dreamer and a Romantic, that the words expressing my inner feelings would be the ones above was...refreshing somehow, since I actually never stopped and contemplated myself, but more then anything I never put it in words, not matter how undissociated and random they look.

And so, the final sentence would be: "I hear these echoes in my Dreams, singing softly, gently...and then fading unseen."

YES, it MAKES NO SENS at all, and it's almost freakish, but this is so perfect that I feel like crying...since not even half of it is allowed by the Apple system because of the count of words; and right now I feel like screaming "I'm f***ing baring my soul to you and pouring my heart on this, how could there be too many words!!!??"

And so, I went back to my first thought: I'm thinking too much, this is a damned ipod, nothing else, I should just have googled some random sentence and cut/past it on it long ago already and forget about the whole deal, or not even wrote anything at all for that matter, or just my name or something, THAT would be useful is it gets lost! =___=

I'm really too serious, I should learn to lay down and relax.

And that's the end of it! I don't care anymore! I'm not spending even one more minute thinking about this!!!
Since it will be engraved on a music player, I thought it was best to put something about music in the sentence.

Well, I'm planning to buy myself an ipod touch 8G soon, in around 1 to 2 weeks from now.
I'm the type of person who, the very moment I put a foot outside of home, immediately put on music in my ears, else I get a bit bored during breaks in school, in the trip in bus and stuffs...and...the truth is I use it a lot to read fanfics aha~ I put them in .txt files and read them on my mp4 screen, it's pretty practical when I'm outside of home and also laying comfortably in my bed :D (my laptop is too big and heavy since it's a 17" after all...reading fanfics for long periods of time is just not possible like that!)
I've lost the count of all the fanfics I read that way :P
My actual mp4 battery has been dead for 2 months now, and I've been delaying getting something else to replace it for a while...since I was actually hesitating in buying an iphone! But I finally decided that the Nokia 3G booklet was a lot better, and both my brother and I will save to get it in the future ^^

Back to what I need help for, when you actually buy your ipod from the apple official website (which is what I'm going to do), you can Personalize your iPod with free engraving.
And I don't know what to do about this...I had 2 quotes in mind, but the texts were too long, and there was no way to make any changes to them. My next idea was my 'trademark' quote: "I seek Peace in My Dreams" which I like a lot, but not only does it only take 1 line (we are allowed 2 lines) but I felt somewhat bored when looking at it for some reason...
The true problem is it's an engraving made with laser, meaning whatever I write will stay there for a while (as in "forever"), so taking a decision is Hell.

I'd like to ask what would you do in my place? Meaning what would be your thinking process when trying to get the right words to engrave?

Well, actually, I can't think of anything to say aha~

On another note, I'm working on a new layout for my LJ; actually I wanted to finish it before making this post, but I'm dead tired already and I don't think I'll be finishing it tonight ^^;;

And one more thing: my plane is taking off tomorrow afternoon, and I won't be back until January 2nd.
That said, I'll certainly still connect to internet, just less then usual; so I'll be only half gone ;)

Well, it wasn't what I was expecting actually.
I had in mind something bigger and also breakable, since the description said it was in ceramic....
But I snapped pretty quickly from my surprise and I think the final product is good ^^

It's actually made in figure like material (this thick plastic, you know?) and it actually have the size of my hand, so cute!
Furthermore, the cat and the mini calendar are not linked so you could use them separately if you want :)

I really can't find anything else to say ^^;; Of course, it's all smooth and new and neat and pretty and printed on good quality paper etc.. but there is nothing especially impressing neither original nor noticeable about it in its constitution/design/layout etc..
So, sincerely, if I had wanted to I could have shared 3000px photos, or even spent the whole week scanning and editing in HQ, but I just didn't think it was worth it seeing how most, if not all, the pictures are already known by pretty much everyone who reads the manga.

All along, since the moment I pre-ordered it a while back, I've been wondering if that was a desktop calendar or a planner, the information online was really not enough to have quite a clear idea of how it was...
And the answer was.....it's BOTH XD

I gotta say I was nicely surprised by the DGM2010 calendar, they actually thought it through!

It can work as both a desktop or a planner depending on the use you want to have of it, it also includes a special card in 3D with each character on a different layer (there are around 7 layers?), which is pretty good seen in real but impossible to scan ^^;; + a cube like calendar that you can construct yourself + semi-transparent stickers to past on your calendar/planner to mark special dates ^____^

I had just written a super lengthy post about the calendars, my POV, regrets about some and hesitation about others and even an historic of the past calendars I got and it was a damn long *boring?* post!!....which was totally lost when I clicked on the cursed 'Homepage/Start' icon instead of 'Open new tab' icon

I also preordered TRC Album of Reproduction 2. Needless to say, I won't scan double pages, it's just plain impossible without destroying the book ^^;;
But in case I'm the first one to actually get/scan/share the book online in a way or another, I will very likely make HQ scans of the 2 new oneshots that were announced, together with the new illustrations (if I'm not mistaken, the covers are the only new arts?). I could make a beautiful scanlation of them too, but I'd need a jp-eng translation first...

I just learned today there was only one chapter left of Nodame Cantabile!!!!!
I actually had absolutely no idea Nodame Cantabile was coming to an end AT ALL!!! Well, I guess it's normal since it was just announced but STILL!!
It totally made me go "NNNAAAAANNNIIIIII????!!!" *eyes pop out*
There seems to be still so many things to be told, shown and learned about Chiaki and Megumi!! Sincerely, and I mean really SERIOUSLY, I thought the end won't be coming for YEARS, considering the many INFINITE plots that could be made about the two!
I'm really, REALLY sad about this, this is one of the rare series I really didn't want to end, FOR REAL ;______;

That is pretty amazing...so Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle will end October 7th, and Nodame Cantabile October 10th....As for XXXHolic it's scheduled for the end of the year too. Did all the mangakas talk between themselves and made a pact or something to turn a new leaf on 2010 or something?? ^^;;;
But I'm fine with TRC and Holic ending, Clamp went too far with the 'turn over Logic' and messed up everything, though I still have some hope left for Holic...the only thing that would have bothered me about these 2 series ending is never ever seeing Syaoran again, but Clamp spoiled us already telling us we will get to see Syaoran Li soon enough in the future and be told why did he go back so suddenly to Hong Kong in CCS vol12.

Arrrrghhhh!!!!! *remembering Nodame again after my mind strayed away for a moment*

Ok, before I start hyperventilating, I have to remember all that is left to be released:
-Nodame Cantabile chapter 136 [end-october 10th 2009]
-Nodame Cantabile anime season 3 [spring 2010]
-Nodame Cantabile Movies [2 movies] live action [2010]
Yeah, I think I could survive with that for a while, somehow, since I will have the 2 movies of Macross Frontier and the 2 others movies of Eden of the East distracting me meanwhile, add to it Kobato which, hopefully, will heal us from the disappointment of TRC upcoming ending (yes, at this point, Clamp messed up enough for me to say safely that pretty much no matter what they do, nothing will be good enough to erase all we went through this past year), and also a new chapter of DGrayMan in November.
